Since being launched in 2005, the Longines Master Collection combines classical elegance with excellent quality to ultimately produce exceptional timepieces. Introduced at Baselworld 2018 as Longines's first watch to be fitted with a mechanical annual calendar movement, this Master Collection features a 42 mm stainless steel case that holds an intricate black barleycorn dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a polished fixed bezel. It has silver-tone leaf hands and white painted Roman numerals as hour markers. The beveled month and date windows are located at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to its signed crown. Other elements in white contrast are the dial texts, flange minute markers, and month/date background. It is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a triple safety folding clasp with a push-piece opening mechanism. This watch also features an exhibition caseback showcasing the caliber L897.2, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour, generating up to 64 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
