An impressive and successful range of watches since being launched in 2005, the Longines Master Collection combines classical elegance with excellent quality to ultimately produce exceptional timepieces. This complete calendar chronograph features a 42 mm stainless steel case that holds an intricate silver-tone barleycorn dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a polished fixed bezel. It has blued leaf hands and painted black Arabic numerals as hour markers. Three multi-function subdials offer a moonphase display / 12-hour counter, a sub-seconds register / 24-hour indicator, and a day/month display / 30-minute counter. Together with the central chronograph second hand is a central "half moon" hand which points towards a date scale around the dial's edge in between the hour and minute markers. The crown and pushers adjust and operate the time, calendar, and chronograph functions while a recessed pusher at the 10 o'clock position corrects the day of the week by using the corrector tool. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism. This watch also features an exhibition caseback showcasing the caliber L687, a Swiss automatic column wheel chronograph movement boasting up to 66 hours of power reserve, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
