As a tribute to Longines' innovative spirit that has driven watchmakers from the outset, the Heritage Classic pieces are a combination of the brand's historic models' aesthetics and modern watchmaking techniques. This Heritage Classic "Sector" is a revival of the 1934 original and features a slightly larger 38.5 mm stainless steel case that holds a silver-tone sector dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The minimalist dial has a central matte-finished portion with a crosshair accent, blued pencil hands, and painted black indices and Arabic numerals as hour markers, giving a sectored look on a metallic outer ring. The crown is located at the 3 o'clock position while the small seconds subdial with concentric circular graining lies at the 6 o'clock position. It is fitted with a black leather strap and secured by a stainless steel signed buckle. It also comes with an interchangeable blue leather NATO strap for a variety of looks. This watch has a solid case-back decorated with a vintage 1889-registered EFCo Longines' winged hourglass logo wherein underneath lies the caliber L893, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour generating up to 72 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
