Symbolizing the brand's close links with alpine skiing, Longines presents a new version of its Conquest chronograph created in collaboration with Swiss multi-champion skier and Longines brand ambassador, Marco Odermatt. This Conquest Marco Odermatt tri-compax chronograph is a limited edition of 2,042 pieces, honoring his points total for the 2023-2024 season. It features a 42 mm stainless steel case that holds a beautiful sunray blue dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and is bordered by a fixed tachymeter-scale bezel on a blue ceramic top ring. It also has silver-tone and luminescent hands and applied indices along a silver-tone accent ring with concentric circular patterns. Three subdials display counters for sub-seconds, 30 minutes and 12-hours. Red accents complement the central chronograph seconds hand and subdial hands for the minute and hour counters. The protected screw-down crown and pushers adjust and operate the time and chronograph functions. Fitted with a blue fabric and secured with a triple safety folding clasp and push-piece opening mechanism. It also comes with an interchangeable blue NATO-style strap for a variety of looks. This watch also features an exhibition caseback printed with the Crystal Globe, the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup's trophy. Encased within is the caliber L898, a Swiss automatic chronograph movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 59 hours of power reserve, and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet. This limited edition set also comes with a strap changing tool in a presentation box.
